  7. A question...could you keep going and make this bigger for a plus-size gal? Maybe just add more rows at the end of pattern?

    Thanks! What a gorgeous shawl!!

  11. Just wondered if you've made a chart for this pattern. I've tried it a couple of times and I'm not quite sure if I have it right. It's gorgeous and I'd love to actually complete one.

  12. Look, yes the shawl is beautiful, but I'm stuck here trying to decipher the pattern's cryptic language. I really wish you would go back and clear up a few phrases, or explain in a little more detail.

  14. Can you explain row 3? What does it mean one group in 3trc from row below?

  23. Directions are very confusing. I've ripped it out twice, just cannot figure the pattern out.

  24. Your shawl is beautiful. My question is:
Is the pattern written in US terms? or British
Treble crochet= Trc means to wrap yarn twice around hook

  25. Is there a way that you can post a step by step video tutorial?

  26. So frustrating that this author isn't bothering to answer questions or make this pattern easier to understand.

  27. Very difficult pattern to read. No stitch explanation is making it even harder. I'd love to make it, just don't have the time to keep trying to decipher this pattern.

  30. I'm stuck on row three. I got to the center and am not sure what to do with the direction "1 group in center of 3 trc from previous row." Can anyone help?

  31. A "group" is 2 tr 1sc 2 tr done in the same stitch (I think that's right, can't view pattern right now). This is stated in row 2 (or 3 - I can't see the pattern while I'm commenting) of the pattern (in parenthesis).
I have not done the pattern yet but I do believe that when she writes "tr" she means an American treble stitch.
When I tackle this pattern, I'll come back if I run into problems or can figure out what the problem is that everyone seems to be having.

  32. Correction: 2 tr, ch 1, 2 tr is a "group"
